November 24, 2020
The Beer Store will do our part to contribute to the fight against COVID-19, as the City of Toronto and Peel Region entered the lockdown stage of provincial restrictions on Monday, November 23, 2020.
The Beer Store recognizes it is part of this collective response and will continue to operate with all our customers’ and employees’ safety and well-being top of mind. To this end, we will continue to implement and enforce every precaution necessary to protect the health and safety of all who enter our stores.
The Beer Store remains open, and our various locations continue to serve customers during this lockdown period safely.
We have adapted our health and safety practices to protect the communities that we operate within effectively. We will continue to make necessary adjustments to align with the best public health guidance in Ontario.
The Beer Store implements, enforces, and promotes health measures for customers and employees, including; mandatory masking on store premises, hand washing, and sanitization, physical distancing, and robust store cleaning practices including thorough disinfectant deep cleaning, and strict capacity limits.
The deposit return program continues to operate at our retail locations across the province. A reminder to practice social distancing and limit empty returns to one cart per person. We will have TBS staff on hand to help you with your returns.
The Beer Store has been operating at 50% capacity and will continue to do so while Toronto and Peel Region face heightened pandemic restrictions.
We look forward to continuing to welcome and safely serve our customers during our regular operating hours, which can be found at www.thebeerstore.ca/covid-19-information-centre/. We ask that customers observe public health guidance and plan to limit their time in-store, avoid outings if feeling unwell, and show kindness and compassion as we come together during this challenging time.
