Although we employ a network of over 7,000 Beer Champions across Ontario, our culture is often described as ‘tight-knit’ with a ‘family feel’. Team members can look forward to a variety of employee and/or fundraising events such as summer barbeques, sports tournaments, beer tastings, holiday events and more. We make it our business to demonstrate a genuine interest in our people, so it’s no surprise that the average tenure of a Beer Store employee is over 7 years!

We offer a variety of internal learning & development programs that enable our team members to expand their knowledge and develop new skills.
Individuals pursuing a path to management can tap into our High Potential Program (HPP) in our Retail Division or the New Supervisor Training Program in our Logistics Division. We also offer a year-long Mentorship Program where high potential employees are matched with a Senior Leader who will provide coaching and mentorship related to the employee’s developmental goals and objectives. At our Corporate Office, new hires participate in an Externship Program to job shadow and train at one of our stores to learn more about our front-line retail operations.
Employees can also pursue career growth and development by participating in our Continuing Education or Scholarship Program. These programs provide financial relief for employees and/or their children to help them achieve a certificate, degree, or diploma at an accredited post-secondary institution.
