STOUT CHILI
INGREDIENTS
- Lean Beef (1.4-inch cubes) 900 grams
- Vegetable Oil 45 ml
- Onions 500 ml
- Minced Garlic 30 ml
- Chili Powder 90 ml
- Ground Cumin 30 ml
- Tomato Paste 156 ml
- Water 750 ml
- Beer (Ale, Lager, Amber, Brown) 24 oz
- Pinto Beans 540 ml
- Salt and Black Pepper To taste
DIRECTIONS
In a pan break up ground beef and fry until well cooked.
Add onion and green pepper and cook until soft.
Add chilli spices and stir into meat until spice mixture coats meat.
Add tomato soup and brown sugar, well drained kidney beans, enough tomato sauce, to cover and Guinness.
Mix and cook until thick and bubbly.
