Tastes like it was brewed out of newspapers, there are much better alternatives at this price.

Best Beer in Asia are Singha from Thailand and Tiger from Singapore. This is ok beer for the price and should be a good competitor in China against Tsingtao which was imo the best beer in China for many years. Mind you, this can't beat Singha which you can find at LCBO

I like Yanjing but I don't think this bear can beat Tsingtao but it comes from my hometown, Beijing - what I can say.

The only and last major brewery to use formaldehyde as an protein anti-clumping agent. Yanjing is not the number one beer in China, never was. Number one for years was Tsingtao and now is Snow Beer brewed by SAB/Miller
